Faisalabad: Police have lodged a complaint against unidentified accused after a medical report confirmed gang-rape of a 13-year old girl in Faisalabad.

According to details, a teenage orphan girl was brought into a hospital for a medical examination by Child Protection Bureau and her reports confirmed gang-rape.
The girl is also 12 weeks pregnant, medical reports revealed.
Police has registered case in Jhumra Police Station.
Last week, the rape and murder of a 10-year old child in Kasur raised questions over police failure to register cases and arrest the rapists of minors.
Despite promulgation of Anti-Rape Ordinance on December 15, 2020 in which stringent punishments, including castration have been announced, multiple rape cases of minors are reported every other day.
