Pakistan Customs foils smuggling attempt at Islamabad Airport, seizes contraband worth Rs660mn

WEB DESK -- Pakistan Customs has foiled an attempt to smuggle 35 kilogrammes of contraband at Islamabad International Airport.
The recovered contraband, having an estimated value of Rs660 million, was taken into Customs custody. An FIR has accordingly been lodged against the accused passenger under the relevant provisions of law.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain the source, intended destination of the contraband, and other relevant aspects of the attempted smuggling.
