Death anniversary of legendary actor Qavi Khan observed today

The third death anniversary of TV and film actor Qavi Khan was observed today.

Qavi Khan started his career as a child star from Radio Pakistan Peshawar, his birth city. In 1964, he began working at Pakistan Television. 

He started his professional career with the drama Lakhon Mein Aik, whereas Andhera Ujala earned him immense fame across Pakistan.  

Qavi Khan also performed in numerous Pakistani films.

The government awarded Pride of Performance and Sitara-i-Imtiaz to Qavi Khan in recognition of his services to the country and the showbiz industry.

He passed away on this day in 2023.
