Lahore: One accused was shot dead in an alleged police encounter while four of his accomplices escaped here in Kahna earlier today.

According to details, the accused identified as Nadeem was travelling with police in the car when his accomplices opened fire on the vehicle.
Police officials responded by retaliatory firing as result of which Nadeem was killed while his accomplices managed to escape.
The body of accused has been shifted to a hospital for postmortem. He was nominated in a robbery case as well.
