Lahore: A hearing was held in the Lahore High Court (LHC) on a petition against putting the picture of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif on Kisan Card which has been dismissed on the basis of withdrawal.
According to the details, Justice Shahid Karim heard the petition of citizen Mashkoor Hussain.
The petitioner's lawyer took the stand in the court that the Supreme Court has repeatedly prohibited such personal publicity, one cannot advertise with public money.
In response, the lawyer Punjab government said that nothing like this is happening, this petition has been filed before time.
Addressing the petitioner's lawyer, the court stated that if the Punjab government does this, you should file the petition again.
