Pakistan conducts calibrated aerial strikes on terrorist hideouts in Afghanistan
The information ministry says targets were destroyed with precision and initial reports suggest killing of twenty two terrorists


ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan has conducted well-planned and calibrated aerial strikes against the hideouts and safe havens of terrorists organisations of Fitna al Khwarij and Fitna al Hindustan in Afghanistan, killing multiple terrorists.
Sharing details of the strikes, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in a post on X handle stated that based on credible intelligence, selective targeting of terrorist camps and hideouts at two locations belonging to Fitna al khwarij, Fitna al Hindustan and their affiliates has been carried out in Afghanistan with precision and accuracy.
It stated that targets were destroyed with precision and initial reports suggest killing of twenty two terrorists. Large quantities of weapons and ammunition stored at these hideouts was also destroyed.
The Information Ministry stated that Pakistan has always strived for the maintenance of peace and stability in the region. However, the safety and security of our citizens remains our foremost priority.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting voiced concerns that Afghanistan continues to remain a hub of terrorism. It said that the threat to Pakistan emanates from Afghanistan and in this context, our action precisely targeted the terrorist hubs. Maximum precautions were taken and it was ensured that no collateral damage occurs.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting stated that Pakistan's relentless Counter Terrorism campaign Ghazab lil Haq under vision “Azm e Istehkam” by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
