Rawalpindi: Eight terrorists have been killed by security forces in two IBOs, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed on Saturday.

The two IBOs were carried out in Boya and Dasalli areas of North Waziristan. During an intense exchange of fire, right terrorists including three commanders, Abdul Aneer alias Adil, Junaid alias Jamid and Khaliq Shaheen alias Rehan were killed. The three respectively belonged to TTP Toofan Group, TTP Tariq Group and TTP Sadiq Noor Group.
The three were involved in terrorist activities against security forces, law enforcement agencies and locals since 2009 including IED attacks, firing, kidnapping and target killing.
The terrorists were also involved in recruiting others for their heinous activities in the area.
Security forces also recovered huge cache of arms from their hideouts.
