During the call, both leaders prayed for peace, stability, and prosperity for their respective peoples and the Muslim Ummah.

extends Eid greetings and discusses regional situation.

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif spoke with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto over the phone. During the warm and cordial conversation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the Indonesian President and the brotherly people of Indonesia. In response, the Indonesian President also conveyed Eid greetings to the Prime Minister.

During the call, both leaders prayed for peace, stability, and prosperity for their respective peoples and the Muslim Ummah.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening the historic and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Indonesia, and expressed his desire to enhance bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest. Both leaders also exchanged views on the latest regional situation, particularly the ongoing tensions in Iran and the Gulf region.

On this occasion, both emphasized the need for immediate de-escalation and agreed that all disputes should be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.
