Los Angeles: Veteran TV host, Larry King, who gained immense popularity for interviewing world leaders and celebrities around the world, has died at the age of 87.

According to details, King passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where he was undergoing treatment after suffering from Covid-19 earlier this month.
The broadcasting giant was facing numerous other health problems including cardiac issues.
Popular for his unique style, King conducted more than 50,000 interviews in his illustrious career spanning over six decades, which included 25 years as host of famous talk show ‘Larry King Live’.
He had the distinction of carrying out interviews with every sitting president of United States (US) from Gerald Ford to Barack Obama and a number of other political world leaders. Some of his high-profile guests included Dalai Lama, Dr Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela and Lady Gaga.
He retired in 2010 after recording more than 6,000 episodes of his talk show.
He concluded his final program by saying, "I don't know what to say, except to you, my audience, thank you. Instead of goodbye, how about so long?"
Larry King married eight times and had five children. Two of his children passed away last year within weeks of each other, son died from a heart attack and daughter from lungs cancer.
Besides working as a TV host, King also established a Larry King Cardiac Foundation in 1988 to help those who are unable to afford cardiac treatment.
