Prime Minister and the Austrian Chancellor will jointly co-chair a meeting of prominent business leaders aimed at enhancing investment between the two countries.


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has departed for a two-day official visit to Vienna, Austria, at the invitation of Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker.
During his stay in Vienna, the Prime Minister will hold bilateral and delegation-level talks with the Austrian Chancellor at the Federal Chancellery.
According to details, the Prime Minister and the Austrian Chancellor will jointly co-chair a meeting of prominent business leaders aimed at enhancing investment between the two countries. Subsequently, the Prime Minister will participate in and address the Pakistan–Austria Business Forum.
Additionally, the Prime Minister will attend a special event in Vienna organized under the auspices of the United Nations on the theme “Sustainable Development: The Path to Global Peace and Prosperity.” He will also meet with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi are accompanying the Prime Minister.
Experts believe that the Prime Minister’s official visit to Austria will add new dimensions to the bilateral relations between the two countries.
