Islamabad: If the opposition is defeated in the Senate elections, cracks will appear in the PDM and Prime Minister Imran Khan will take full advantage of the situation.

Speaking in GNN program "Live with Dr Shahid Masood", senior journalist Dr Shahid Masood said that due to Senate polls, PM had intensified his meetings with parliamentarians.

Dr Shahid while unveiling the relationship between MPs and Hafeez Shaikh said that parliamentarians had objected that Hafeez Shaikh had never met them as Finance Minister nor he had ever solved their funding problems.

After the Senate polls, the long march movement will catch up and if the government succeeds in winning the Senate election, many questions will arise on the formation of PDM, he added.
