Karachi: Former Pakistani skipper, Shahid Afridi is celebrating his birthday on Monday and has thanked fans for their wishes but created confusion about his age with a tweet.

As per the official website of International Cricket Council (ICC), Afridi was born on March 01, 1980 which makes him 41 years old. However, Afridi has confirmed that he turned 44 today.
Sub-editor ESPN tweeted and wrote, " We have his age @ESPNcricinfo as 41, his autobiography says 46, and now we have 44!"
