After offering Eid prayers, Dr Hafeez UrRehman visited residential towers established under Alkhidmat’s arrangements for Gaza-affected families

Lahore: President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Prof Dr Hafeez Ur Rehman, celebrated Eid ul Fitr with Palestinian refugees and orphaned children from Gaza in Cairo, Egypt, reaffirming Pakistan’s continued support for the affected families.
After offering Eid prayers, Dr Hafeez UrRehman visited residential towers established under Alkhidmat’s arrangements for Gaza-affected families. He met Palestinian families, extended Eid greetings, distributed Eid gifts among orphaned children, and spent time with them.
He paid tribute to the resilience and patience of Gaza’s displaced families, who, despite prolonged hardships, continue to demonstrate remarkable courage.
A special luncheon was also organised by Alkhidmat Foundation in Al-Obour City in honour of Gaza’s orphaned children and affected families. Gifts, toys, and Cash Eidi were distributed among the children on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Hafeez Ur Rehman said that Alkhidmat Foundation would never leave its Palestinian brothers and sisters alone. “I bring a message of love and prayers from the people of Pakistan. They are not only praying for you but are also contributing generously for your support,” he said.

He added that following relief and rescue efforts in Gaza, rehabilitation initiatives were now underway, while support for refugees who migrated to Egypt was being continuously ensured.
Earlier, after offering Friday and Eid prayers at Al-Azhar, he met with various dignitaries and discussed ongoing relief activities for Gaza and related matters.
Later, during a dinner meeting with Alkhidmat’s camp office staff and volunteers in Cairo, a review of relief operations was conducted, and future targets were outlined. He extended Eid greetings to the team and appreciated their efforts.
Dr Rehman noted that Alkhidmat Foundation is actively engaged in relief and rehabilitation efforts for Gaza affectees across multiple countries, including Pakistan, Egypt, Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkiye. He termed service to the Palestinian people a great honour and vowed to continue these efforts until full rehabilitation is achieved.
The visit reflects Alkhidmat’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian support and solidarity with the people of Palestine, representing the compassion and backing of the Pakistani nation.
