Islamabad: Sixty-seven Afghan Taliban operatives have been killed and scores of other injured as security forces effectively repulsed physical attacks of Afghan Taliban at different location in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Sharing updates of Operation Ghazab lil Haq on his X handle, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar said Afghan Taliban resorted to physical attack on sixteen locations in Northern Balochistan in Qilla Saifullah, Noshki and Chaman Districts while engaging our troops on twenty-five locations in fire raid.
He said the attacks at all the locations have been effectively repulsed and twenty-seven Afghan Taliban were killed and scores of other injured.
He said one soldier of FC Balochistan North gave the ultimate sacrifice while defending the motherland while five soldiers are injured.
The Information Minister said in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, physical attack was attempted at one place while fire raid was conducted on twelve locations which were all repulsed without any loss of life. He said forty Afghan Taliban were killed in the overnight operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Pakistan Armed Forces are continuing effective ground and air operations against Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij.
According to security sources, Pakistan armed forces, in a successful air operation, have destroyed the Khogyani base in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province.
Fitna al-Khwarij and Afghan Taliban are facing a complete retreat on every front after unprovoked aggression.
'Operation Ghazab Lil Haq' is still underway and will continue until its objectives are achieved.
