Jhang: At least 14 passengers were killed and 29 others injured after a university bus collided with a passenger van in Jhang on Wednesday, rescuers and police said.
According to rescue officials, the Veterinary University bus, bound for Lahore, collided with a passenger van coming from the opposite direction.
Rescue sources said the van attempted to overtake a tractor-trolley, which led to the accident.
The crash left 14 people dead and 29 injured, all of whom have been transferred to the DHQ Hospital. Among the deceased are three women and one child.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
