Rawalpindi: Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir attended Christmas celebrations and extended heartfelt Christmas greetings and best wishes to the Christian community.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir participated in Christmas festivities at Christ Church, Rawalpindi. On this joyous occasion, the Army Chief celebrated with members of the Christian community, conveyed warm Christmas greetings, and expressed best wishes for peace, harmony, and prosperity.
ISPR stated that Field Marshal Asim Munir interacted with attendees at the ceremony and appreciated the valuable contributions of Pakistani Christians toward national development and security. He also emphasized the importance of interfaith harmony, mutual respect, and unity.
According to the ISPR spokesperson, the Field Marshal paid tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and highlighted the Founder of Pakistan’s vision of equality, freedom, and religious tolerance.

The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that the Field Marshal stressed interfaith harmony, mutual respect, and national unity, adding that Pakistan’s strength lies in diversity, equal opportunities, and constitutional values.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir stated that Pakistan’s strength is rooted in equal opportunities and constitutional values, which transcend religion, race, caste, and creed. He reaffirmed the firm commitment of the Armed Forces of Pakistan to protecting the dignity, security, and equal rights of all citizens.
According to the spokesperson, leaders of the Christian community expressed gratitude for the Field Marshal’s visit and appreciated the role of the Pakistan Army in national defense, religious harmony, and national unity.
