Lahore: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has announced its verdict in another case related to the May 9 incidents.
ATC Judge Manzar Ali Gul delivered the reserved judgment at Kot Lakhpat Jail in the case concerning the torching of police vehicles during the May 9 unrest.
The court sentenced Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Mahmoodur Rasheed, Omar Cheema, Ejaz Chaudhry, and Dr. Yasmin Rashid to 10 years' imprisonment each.
However, the Anti-Terrorism Court acquitted senior PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi, who had also been nominated in the case.
