Rawalpindi: Security forces carried out successful operations in the Kalat district of Balochistan and killed eight Indian backed terrorists.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence based operation(ibo) was conducted on December 24 in an area of Kalat district, Balochistan. Intelligence reports indicated that terrorists of Fitna-e-Hindustan were present in the area and were using a covert hideout.
ISPR stated that during the operation, security forces effectively targeted the terrorist hideout. After an intense exchange of fire, eight Indian sponsored terrorists were killed.
According to the ISPR spokesperson, weapons, ammunition, and explosive materials were recovered from the possession of the killed terrorists. These terrorists had been actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area.
ISPR further stated that clearance and search operations are ongoing in the area to eliminate any other terrorists operating under Indian patronage.
The Pakistan Army spokesperson added that, in line with the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam” approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue counter-terrorism operations until foreign-sponsored terrorism is completely eradicated.
