Todd Greenberg added that we are looking forward to welcoming players to BBL


Lahore: Cricket Australia CEO Todd Greenberg has expressed hope that Pakistani cricketers will get a chance to play in the Big Bash League (BBL) this year as well.
In his statement on the PCB’s withholding of the players’ NOCs, Todd Greenberg said that he has spoken to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) about the decision to withhold the players’ NOCs.
He stated that he has been in touch with the PCB for the last few days, and he hopes that we will find a solution to this. This will be a great season of the BBL.
Todd Greenberg added that we are looking forward to welcoming the players to the Big Bash League. We are confident that Pakistani players will add value to the BBL.
It is pertinent to note that a few days ago, the PCB had withheld the NOCs of its players for foreign leagues.
It is also reported that the PCB will give NOCs only to those players who meet the performance standards in international and domestic cricket.
Seven Pakistanis, including Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Shadab Khan, are part of the BBL, and the league will start in December.
