WhatsApp tests @everyone feature for group chats
Under this feature, users will be able to tag every individual in a group chat at once by using @everyone

(Web Desk): A new feature is being tested on WhatsApp that will significantly improve the experience of using group chats.
According to a report by WABetaInfo, details about this feature were shared.
The report states that WhatsApp is testing a feature that will allow users to mention everyone in a group chat.
According to the report, under this feature, users will be able to tag every individual in a group chat at once by using @everyone.
Currently, each individual in a group has to be mentioned separately, which takes time and sometimes leads to some names being missed.
However, with this single mention feature, every group member will receive a notification — even if someone has muted the chat.
This feature will be particularly helpful in large groups where it is important to deliver updates to all members simultaneously.
The report notes that this feature will make it easier to reach every individual in large groups and community chats.
Also, this new feature will not be limited to group admins — any member will be able to access the entire group using it.
However, group admins will have the option to restrict its use.
Currently, this feature has appeared in WhatsApp’s beta version and is available only to a limited number of users.
It is still unclear when this feature will be rolled out to all users.
