Authorities recovered 94,000 fake US dollars from suspect’s possession

(Web Desk): The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Corporate Crime Unit in Karachi, in a joint operation with the Rangers, has arrested a suspect involved in the sale of counterfeit US dollars.
According to the FIA spokesperson, the suspect has been identified as Muhammad Shafiq. He was arrested from the Mobile Market in Saddar, Karachi.
The suspect was caught red-handed with counterfeit US currency during the operation conducted in coordination with the Rangers. Authorities recovered 94,000 fake US dollars from his possession.
Additionally, Rs16,180 in local currency and a mobile phone were also recovered from the suspect. The operation was carried out based on intelligence reports.
The spokesperson further stated that the suspect has been taken into custody and investigations have been initiated.
