‘Drone attacks by Ukraine caused no damage’

Moscow: Russia’s Ministry of Defense has stated that its anti-aircraft systems shot down 120 Ukrainian drones, most of which were intercepted in border regions.
According to a report by the international news agency Reuters, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that the drone attacks by Ukraine caused no damage, and all 120 drones were successfully neutralized.
The ministry further detailed that more than 30 drones were downed over the western Bryansk region, 29 in the Kursk region, and 17 in Belgorod — all of which border Ukraine.
Additionally, 18 more drones were shot down in the Oryol region, which borders Kursk — an area where Ukraine had previously targeted oil facilities with drone strikes.
Russia’s civil aviation authority Rosaviatsia announced that temporary restrictions imposed overnight on airports in St. Petersburg, Kaluga, Moscow, and Nizhny Novgorod due to drone threats have now been lifted as a safety measure.
Ukraine has intensified drone attacks during the war that has now lasted over three years, increasingly targeting various sites inside Russia.
