Students express full support for the Pakistan Army, ready to sacrifice for the country

(Web Desk): Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif, has emphasised the pivotal role of students in countering disinformation and supporting national security efforts, calling them the frontline force in Pakistan’s ongoing information war.
Addressing a special session at the Saylani IT Programme in Karachi, the DG ISPR praised the students’ awareness and responsiveness to evolving national security challenges. He highlighted the recent success of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos as a major achievement in the quest for peace, reaffirming that Pakistan always prioritises peace over conflict.
During the session, students engaged with the army spokesperson through insightful questions related to the country’s internal and external security landscape. Lieutenant General Sharif reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain disciplined, professional, and loyal to their constitutional responsibilities and state directives.
He also stressed Pakistan’s continuing role as a net stabiliser in the region and expressed confidence in the youth’s role in promoting unity and resilience.
Students expressed unwavering support for the Pakistan Army, stating they are ready to sacrifice everything for their country’s protection. They affirmed that the Army is a symbol of national strength and identity. The session concluded with students appreciating the opportunity for dialogue and calling for more such interactions in the future, declaring passionately that “Pakistan always lives on.”
A day earlier, the DG ISPR had addressed students at Jinnah University for Women in Karachi, acknowledging their contributions during Operation Bunyanum Marsoos in the recent conflict with India. He said that students played a crucial part in challenging India’s strategic assumptions.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to its territories, the DG ISPR referred to Kashmir as the “jugular vein” of Pakistan and highlighted the strong religious and cultural ties of the people of Balochistan with the nation, asserting that no external force could undermine this bond.
