Islamabad: Pakistan and Russia have expressed desire to further develop mutual cooperation.
The understanding to this effect was expressed at a meeting between Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin and Pakistan's Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi in Moscow.
They discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation at the UN including Pakistan's non-permanent membership in the Security Council.
The meeting confirmed the similarity of Moscow's and Islamabad's approaches to many pressing issues on the international agenda.
