Rawalpindi: Nine terrorists of the Indian-backed Fitna Al-Khawarij were killed in various operations by security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), operations against the Indian-backed Fitna Al-Khawarij were carried out on May 17 and 18.
According to the ISPR, two brave security forces personnel were also martyred in the exchange of fire.
Five Indian-sponsored Khawarij were killed in an effective operation on the Khawarij hideout in Lakki Marwat, and two Khawarij were killed in an operation against the Indian-sponsored Khawarij in Bannu.
In addition, two security forces personnel were martyred in a terrorist attack in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, and two Indian-sponsored terrorists were also killed in the retaliatory operation.
According to the ISPR, those martyred in the terrorist firing include Sepoy Farhad Ali Turi and Lance Naik Sabir Afridi.
Sepoy Farhad Ali Turi, 29, is from Kurram district, while Lance Naik Sabir Afridi, 32, is from Kohat district.
According to the ISPR, a clearance operation is underway to eliminate other Khawarij in the area. Security forces are determined to completely eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorism. The sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
