Facility is being provided following Human Organ Transplant Act


Quetta: The Institute of Kidney and Bladder Diseases, Quetta, has started a kidney transplant facility, which is good news for patients suffering from kidney diseases in Balochistan.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Kidney and Bladder Diseases, Government of Balochistan, Dr Fahim Khan, stated this.
He said that this facility is being provided following the Human Organ Transplant Act.
He stated that in the past, patients of Balochistan had to go to other provinces for kidney transplants, where they had to spend millions of rupees, but now this facility is being provided completely free of cost in their province, under the supervision of modern facilities and expert doctors.
Dr Fahim Khan asked the patients to approach the transplant registration desk established in the institute as soon as possible and complete their registration.
