Dengue on spike in KP, 105 new cases report in 24 hours

Dengue on spike in KP, 105 new cases report in 24 hours

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reported 105 new dengue cases in the past 24 hours, according to the provincial health department.

The total number of active dengue cases in the province has reached 417. As per the report, 39 serious patients are currently under treatment in different hospitals across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

District-wise data showed that 15 patients are being treated in Nowshera, 14 in Mardan, four each in Charsadda and Kohat, and two in Abbottabad hospitals.

So far, 1,872 patients have been admitted to hospitals, and 4,962 patients have recovered.

The health department stated that the total number of dengue cases reported in the province so far this year has risen to 5,381.
