‘Efforts are underway to locate fleeing terrorists’

Bannu: A terrorist attack on a police checkpost in Bannu was successfully thwarted by a quick and effective response from law enforcement authorities.
According to the police, terrorists opened fire on the Kangerpul police checkpost, but the police swiftly retaliated, forcing the attackers to flee.
Authorities confirmed that no casualties were reported in the attack, and efforts are underway to locate the fleeing terrorists.
In a separate incident in Peshawar, a hand grenade was thrown at a hotel in the Matni area. Fortunately, no one was injured in the attack, as all individuals inside the hotel managed to remain safe. After throwing the grenade, the assailants quickly escaped the scene. Police are investigating both incidents and have increased security measures in the respective areas.
Authorities continue to pursue leads to identify and apprehend those responsible for these attacks.
