Abbottabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Thursday while expressing his condolences at the house of an official who was martyred in a terrorist attack last week in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said that it is necessary to end smuggling together with the provincial governments. ‘I am grateful for the support of Army Chief General Asim Munir for his support to prevent smuggling’.
According to the details, Prime Minister expressed his condolences to the family of martyred Customs officer Hussain Ali Tirmizi at his residence in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and paid tribute to the martyr's sacrifice.
Speaking on this occasion, Shehbaz Sharif directed to take full action to prevent smuggling. He said that Chairman Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR), officers of relevant agencies are present, Mohsin Naqvi is united to prevent smuggling.
He stated that it is necessary to end the smuggling together with the provincial governments. The economy cannot stabilize without the end of the smuggling, they will use all their capabilities to prevent it.
The premier added that he is grateful for the Army Chief's support in preventing smuggling. He is proud of the martyred Inspector Hasnain. There were eight martyrs in DI Khan incidents. The brave warriors are fighting the enemies with their life at stake.
