Islamabad: Election tribunal has termed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leader Murad Saeed ineligible for senate elections.
According to the details, judge Justice Shakeel Ahmed heard the appeal against the rejection of nomination papers of Murad Saeed. Election tribunal discarded the appeal of Murad Saeed.
Justice Shakeel Ahmed inquired that is Murad Saeed still a proclaim offender.
Lawyer Murad Saeed stated that this case was filed amid the risk of Murad Saeed’s life. If he become a senator then he can be saved.
Justice questioned that when you are in power then what is the rule. You can take the corridor security bail.
On this lawyer replied that it is the misfortune of Pakistan that when you come in power all the cases are discarded.
On the other hand, the opposite lawyer said that different court’s verdicts are present regarding the proclaimer that he cannot take part in elections. He did not mention the joint account in nomination papers.
