PM Shehbaz signs ‘Gaza Board of Peace’ draft at Davos

Davos: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has signed the draft of the “Gaza Board of Peace” established by former US President Donald Trump.

According to details, a signing ceremony for the draft of the “Gaza Board of Peace” was held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum meeting currently underway in Davos, Switzerland. Leaders from various countries attended the ceremony.

Former US President Donald Trump signed the draft of the Gaza Peace Board. Leaders from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Bahrain, Morocco, Argentina, and Armenia also signed the document.

In addition, Qatar, Paraguay, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Hungary, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, and Kosovo were among the countries that signed the draft.

Addressing the ceremony, Donald Trump thanked the countries that joined the Gaza Peace Board. He said that many countries want to become part of the Gaza Peace Board and expressed that a lot can be done for Gaza. He added that Gaza will be rebuilt, and if Hamas does not disarm, it will be eliminated.

While addressing the World Economic Forum, Donald Trump stated that the United States has made the world safer by stopping several wars. He said that when America prospers, the world prospers.

He further said that the world is more peaceful and secure today than before, adding that they have accomplished impossible and major tasks. Trump claimed that the US has stopped wars and made the world safer, including preventing war between Pakistan and India, ending conflicts between Israel and Iran, Serbia and Kosovo, and Thailand and Cambodia.

Trump also said that he brokered a ceasefire in Gaza through a peace agreement, after which humanitarian aid operations began in the region. He thanked the countries that joined the Gaza Peace Board and said that many more countries are now willing to join the initiative.

He reiterated that much can be done for Gaza, it will be rebuilt, and if Hamas does not disarm, it will be eliminated.
