Shaban moon not sighted, first of Shaban on Wednesday

The moon of Shaban 1447 Hijri has not been sighted and, therefore, the first of Shaban will commence from Wednesday.

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony in Islamabad, the decision was taken in pursuance of the ruling of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
