Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a cash reward of Rs10 million each for the players of Pakistan's victorious Under-19 Asia Cup cricket team.
He also hosted a luncheon in honour of the young players in Islamabad today.
In addition, the Prime Minister announced a cash prize of 2.5 million rupees for each member of the team’s management.
He said the team, through its outstanding performance, has won the hearts of the entire nation.
The Prime Minister also commended the team management, Captain Farhan Yousaf, as well as Sameer Minhas, Ali Raza and all members of the contingent for bringing laurels to the country.
