Web Desk: In the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Under-19 Asia Cup final, Pakistan clinched the trophy after inflicting a crushing defeat on India.
Chasing a target of 348 runs, the Indian team was bowled out for just 156 runs.
Earlier, Pakistan posted a formidable total of 347 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 50 overs, setting India a challenging target of 348.
Against India, Sameer Munhas played a blistering knock of 172 runs, smashing 17 fours and 9 sixes. He scored 103 runs off just 71 balls. Sameer also finished as the top scorer of the tournament.
Other contributors included Ahmed Hussain with 56 runs, Usman Khan with 35, captain Farhan Yousuf with 19, and Hamza Zahoor with 18. Mohammad Siyam (13*) and Naqab Shafiq (12*) remained not out.

From India’s side, Dipesh Devindran claimed 3 wickets, while Khilan Patel and Henil Patel took 2 wickets each.
India won the toss and opted to field first against Pakistan.
Before the final, Pakistan captain Farhan Yousuf said that the team was fully prepared, would fight hard, and aim to secure the title.
It is worth noting that Pakistan has won the ICC Under-19 World Cup twice but has never won the Under-19 Asia Cup outright.
In the 2012 Under-19 Asia Cup, Pakistan and India were declared joint champions.
