Meta introduces nickname feature for posts in Facebook groups
Once a group admin approves option, members will be able to publish posts, leave comments and react within that group using their chosen nickname and an avatar image rather than their real identity

Web Desk: Meta, the parent company of Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram, has introduced a new feature allowing users to post in Facebook Groups using a nickname instead of their real name — provided the group admin grants permission.
According to technology reports, once a group admin approves the option, members will be able to publish posts, leave comments and react within that group using their chosen nickname and an avatar image rather than their real identity.
The selected nickname will apply only within that specific group, while a member’s real name will continue to appear in all other groups.
If a nickname is chosen, Facebook will also update a user’s previous posts in that group to display the new nickname.
