D.I. Khan: Security forces have successfully conducted an operation in the Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, eliminating 22 terrorists.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in the Dera Ismail Khan district after receiving information about the presence of terrorists linked to the Indian-backed proxy group Khawarij. During the operation, 22 militants were killed.
The ISPR spokesperson stated that the security forces effectively targeted the hideout of the Khawarij, and after an intense exchange of fire, all 22 militants were neutralized.
The spokesperson further said that a sanitization operation is underway in the area to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists.
According to the Pakistan Army’s spokesperson, security forces and law-enforcement agencies are continuing the counterterrorism campaign at full pace under the vision of “Azm-e-Istihkam.”
