Rawalpindi: Security forces eliminated 20 foreign-backed terrorists in two separate operations conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa۔
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in North Waziristan, security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation, effectively targeting the hideouts of the militants. During the operation, eight Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed.
According to the ISPR spokesperson, another operation was conducted in Darra Adam Khel, where intense exchange of fire took place, resulting in the killing of 12 more terrorists.
The spokesperson added that a clearance operation is underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area.
The ISPR stated that security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their counterterrorism efforts under Operation Azm-e-Istehkam. Operations will persist until the complete eradication of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
