Punjab’s Environment Dept to ban vehicles without green stickers after Nov 15
Only vehicles that meet the EPA Punjab’s environmental standards will be permitted on the roads

Lahore: The Punjab Environment Department has decided to prohibit the operation of vehicles without green stickers from 15 November onwards. The Director General of the Environment Protection Agency (EPA), Punjab, Imran Hamid Sheikh, has made exhaust testing mandatory for all vehicles in Lahore.
Vehicles without a Green Sticker or a valid Exhaust Testing System (ETS) certificate will be impounded after November 15. Only vehicles that meet the EPA Punjab’s environmental standards will be permitted on the roads.
Mr Sheikh stated that the EPA Punjab has launched a strict crackdown on pollution-emitting vehicles in Lahore. A zero-tolerance policy has been enforced against environmentally harmful vehicles, and those without ETS verification will face legal action and possible confiscation.
He further added that EPA Punjab has commenced an extensive anti-pollution campaign from Lahore. Citizens have been urged to immediately have their vehicles’ exhaust systems tested, as failure to do so will result in the vehicles being seized.
