India's Neeraj Chopra threw 83.65 meters in the first round, and 84.03 meters in the second round.

Germany's Julian Weber's first throw was 83.86 meters, while his second throw was 86.11 meters. Similarly, another Indian player, Sachin Yadav, surprised everyone by throwing 86.27 meters in his first throw.

After making two weak throws in the first two, Arshad Nadeem could not reach the final. However, in the third throw, Arshad Nadeem qualified for the final with a throw of 85.28 meters, where he will also compete with India's Neeraj Chopra.

It is pertinent to note that Pakistan's Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem was first out of the World Athletics Silver Tour and then the Diamond League due to injury, after which he focused his attention on the World Athletics Championships.
