A comprehensive awareness campaign has been launched focusing on road safety and the implementation of a faceless e-ticketing system


Karachi: In a collaborative effort between the Karachi Traffic Police and Lok Suhartha, a comprehensive awareness campaign has been launched focusing on road safety and the implementation of a faceless e-ticketing system.
According to the Traffic Police spokesperson, the campaign aims to educate citizens about the importance of traffic rules and the introduction of a modern, automated challan (e-ticketing) system.
Starting October 1, 2025, the faceless e-challan system will officially be activated. Under this system, traffic violations will be detected through advanced surveillance cameras, and challans will be sent directly to violators’ homes along with photographic or video evidence—without any human interference or influence.
Through this new system, traffic laws will be monitored automatically across the city using high-tech CCTV cameras. In the event of a violation, a fine will be issued with proper evidence. This initiative is intended to provide citizens with a transparent, fair, and effective law enforcement experience.
As part of the awareness campaign, informational pamphlets are being distributed at various key locations across the city, especially at traffic signals. Volunteers, lady constables, and students from educational institutions are working alongside the traffic police to educate the public. The campaign highlights the importance of obeying traffic rules, road safety, and transparency in the system.
This step is being hailed as a revolutionary move toward making Karachi a safer, more organized, and law-abiding city.
The spokesperson concluded with the slogan: "Your companion in every journey – Karachi Traffic Police."
