Five killed, scores injured as passenger bus flips in layyah
Layyah: At least five people were killed while 26 people sustained injuries when a passenger bus overturned near village Juman Shah in the outskirts of Layyah in early hours of Wednesday, GNN reported.
As per GNN, passenger bus overturned while saving a donkey cart, killing five persons on the spot.
Rescue teams and police reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased and injured to District Hospital Layyah (DHL).
As soon as the accident was reported, area police and rescue teams rushed to the spot.
The condition of several of the injured is said to be critical.
Meanwhile, police have registered a report of the incident and initiated further action.
