Praising Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ali Nasir Rizvi and his team, the Interior Minister emphasized the need to further enhance online platforms to ensure prompt assistance for women and vulnerable groups.

A separate helpline, 1815, has been allocated for the online women’s police station. It is entirely staffed by women, including call attendants, responders, and investigation officers.

Mohsin Naqvi stated that the mobile app and the online police station reflect the government's commitment to the effective use of modern technology. He stressed that serving the public should remain the top priority for the Safe City personnel.

Additionally, he said that Islamabad Safe City would be developed as a model project and connected with other provincial Safe Cities to make the federal capital the safest city in the country.

During a briefing, IGP Islamabad Ali Nasir Rizvi revealed that currently, 3,100 cameras are being used across various areas of the capital for surveillance, and work is underway to install an additional 3,100 cameras.
