Deceased was a resident of Orangi Town

(Web Desk): A resident of Orangi Town in Karachi has passed away due to Naegleria.
The Sindh Health Department confirmed the death of another citizen in Karachi from Naegleria, stating that the deceased was a resident of Orangi Town.
According to the Health Department, the patient began showing symptoms on May 28, 2025, and was admitted to the hospital on May 30.
On June 2, tests confirmed the presence of Naegleria fowleri, and the patient passed away within two days.
According to the Health Department, the number of deaths from Naegleria in Sindh this year has now reached two, both of whom were residents of Karachi.
