He was presented with guard of honor during special ceremony at Martyrs’ Memorial


Rawalpindi: A ceremony was held at the Martyrs’ Memorial in honor of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir was presented with a guard of honor during a special ceremony at the Martyrs’ Memorial GHQ. He placed flowers at the Martyrs’ Memorial and offered Fateha to pay tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan.
According to the ISPR, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir dedicated his honor to the entire nation, the armed forces, especially the martyrs, law enforcement agencies, and civilians.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said that the honor is a tribute to the entire nation and the brave men and women of the Pakistani army, especially those martyrs who stood like a leaden wall against the unprovoked, cowardly, and illegal Indian aggression.
It is pertinent to note that yesterday, the government announced the promotion of Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir to the rank of Field Marshal after the glorious victory against India.
Meanwhile, the badge installation ceremony for Syed Asim Munir has been postponed due to his other engagements.
