Despite India's provocative actions, Pakistan's response is responsible, says PM
India's actions are nefarious attempt to divert attention from Pakistan's counter-terrorism efforts

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says that despite India's provocative actions after the firing incident in the Pahalgam area of occupied Kashmir, Pakistan's response has been responsible.
The Turkish ambassador met Shehbaz Sharif, who expressed his best wishes for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The Prime Minister said that despite India's provocative actions after the Pahalgam incident, Pakistan's response has been responsible. Pakistan has always condemned all kinds of terrorism. India's actions are a nefarious attempt to divert attention from Pakistan's counter-terrorism efforts.
He stated that India is conspiring to link Pakistan with the Pahalgam incident. India has failed to provide any evidence of Pakistan's involvement in the Pahalgam incident.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan added that India has to respond to Pakistan's offer of a credible, transparent, and impartial international investigation. Pakistan will fully cooperate in such a probe, and if Turkey joins it, it will be welcomed.
He further said that Turkey's support for Pakistan reflects the historical and deep brotherly relations between the two countries and their people. Pakistan is currently fully focused on its economic recovery and development.
On this occasion, the Turkish ambassador said that Turkey supports Pakistan's position. There is a need to exercise restraint in the current crisis to reduce tensions in the region and maintain peace and security in South Asia.
