If India is expelling Pakistanis, why not Adnan Sami, Fawad Ch questions
Former minister's remarks anger singer who is Indian national

(Web Desk): Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry and singer Adnan Sami Khan have rceently exchanged arguments on social media after the former criticised India for expelling Pakistani nationals after Pahalgam attack.
Chaudhry questioned Indian Home Minister Amit Shah’s directive and, in a sarcastic jibe, took aim at “former Pakistani” singer Adnan Sami’s Indian citizenship by asking, “So what about Adnan Sami?” The remark clearly struck a nerve with Sami.
Adnan Sami, who has been enjoying the privileges of Indian citizenship for years now, lashed out at Fawad Chaudhry, calling him an “ignorant fool”—a response that many saw as downright rude.
This is the same man who once sang songs for Pakistan and now spews venom against the very country that gave him his identity.

Fawad Chaudhry’s question was simple, yet deeply thought-provoking. If India is ordering all Pakistanis to leave, will that include those with a Pakistani background—like Adnan Sami? In response, Adnan Sami offered nothing but rudeness—no logic, no civility.
The irony deepened when Chaudhry mentioned that Sami was from Lahore. In a swift display of "patriotism," Sami corrected him, proudly claiming he was actually from Peshawar—yet another city in Pakistan.

Adnan Sami himself admitted that he longed for Indian citizenship for 18 years and even lived as “stateless” for over a year.
He also claimed that he felt unsafe in Pakistan. But if that were truly the case, how did he manage to build a successful career—performing on stage, making music, gaining fame, and earning respect—all while living in Pakistan?
The truth is, Adnan Sami betrayed his homeland for personal gain. And today, he enjoys the patronage of the very India that issues threats to Pakistan on a daily basis.
