Bulletproofing of police vehicles will speed up operations against terrorists, disruptive elements, and criminals


Lahore: The Punjab Police vehicles have been armored with bulletproofing.
According to the spokesperson for the Punjab Police, single and double-cabin bulletproof vehicles will be used during special operations against criminals in rural areas.
The bulletproofing of police vehicles has been carried out to protect border post personnel from attacks by Khawarij terrorists.
According to IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, bulletproof vehicles are also being provided to the Counter-Terrorism Department for raids against terrorists and disruptive elements. The Crime Control Department (CCD) has also been given bulletproof vehicles.
He stated that bulletproof vehicles are being provided to the Special Branch personnel for reporting and other sensitive tasks. The bulletproofing of police vehicles will speed up operations against terrorists, disruptive elements, and criminals. With the help of bulletproof vehicles, effective actions against dacoits in rural areas and terrorists at border posts will be supported.
