Islamabad: The Federal Minister of Interior Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed Monday stated that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is the country's jugular vein.

In Islamabad today, the Federal Minister held a talk with media persons regarding the CPEC.
"The friendship between Pakistan and China is higher than the Himalayas," noted Interior Minister.
Sheikh Rasheed also welcomed the desire of the Taliban to become a part of CPEC.
“Afghans have assured that they will not allow their land to be used against Pakistan," he added.
While referring to the Mustang suicide bomb attack the Minister said that the instigators of recent attacks in Mustang had originated from Afghanistan.
“Progress of Pakistan and Afghanistan is interconnected,” said the Former Railway Minister.
