Dubai: International Cricket Council (ICC) released the Men’s Test Player Rankings for the week on Wednesday.

English skipper, Joe Root, reclaimed his position in test ranking as a result of his stellar performance in test series against India.
Root made centuries in all three test matches, and mesmerized the crowd and viewers with his top-notch performance and made 507 runs at an average of 126.75.
This performance paved his way for the top position, and relegated New Zealand Captain Kane Williamson’s ranking to second position.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli faced a drop in his ranking and Rohit Sharma took his position making it to the top five batsmen.
However, Pat Cummins of New Zealand retained his top position in bowlers ranking, and only two changes are witnessed in bowlers ranking.
James Anderson’s performance in test against India enabled him to clinch 5th position from New Zealand’s Neil Wagner in bowlers ranking.
