LAHORE -- The 78th death anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, was observed on Friday with great veneration and solemnity.
To mark the day, various programmes were organised by educational institutions and political, social and cultural organisations to highlight the life and leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Sindh Governor Nehal Hashmi, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and members of the Sindh cabinet visited the Quaid’s mausoleum today and paid tribute to the great leader of the subcontinent.
They laid floral wreaths at the Mazar and offered Fateha.
Radio Pakistan also broadcast special programmes highlighting various aspects of the life, services and leadership of the Quaid-e-Azam.
